JAY-Z，原名肖恩·科里·卡特（Shawn Corey Carter），1969年12月4日出生于美国纽约布鲁克林区，美国说唱歌手、音乐制作人、商人、经纪人。
1994年，发行首支个人单曲《In My Lifetime》而正式出道。
2008年4月1日，JAY-Z与碧昂丝·吉赛尔·诺斯在美国斯卡斯代尔镇领取结婚证；4月22日，二人在美国纽约曼哈顿秘密结婚.
