STORY INTRODUCTION
查尔斯·劳顿是一位表演调色板异常丰富多彩，各种类型的角色和各种经历的人生他都能演得得心应手的演员。第6届奥斯卡金像奖最佳男主角奖《亨利八世》。1950年他加入了美国国籍。然而他在表演方面最为成功却是英国片《霍布森的选择》（1953）和《控方证人》，这两部影片分获取1954年的英国学院奖的最佳英国片奖和奥斯卡最佳男主角金像奖的提名。1962年，他因脑溢血去世。
