STORY INTRODUCTION
美国著名女影星。1938年进入电影界，与米高梅公司签订拍片合约，先后拍摄了《花妒莺嗔》、《天涯海角》等片；直到1946年在影片《邮差总按两次铃》中的演出，证明了她的演艺才华，而一举成为米高梅公司的当红女星。在此后的几年中，她相继主演了《绿鲸街头》、《新三剑客》等影片。1957年由她主演的《冷暖人间》获该年奥斯卡最佳女主角的提名。
