剧情简介
STORY INTRODUCTION
马尔普小姐（琼·希克森 Joan Hickson 饰）小姐的老朋友埃尔斯佩思（大卫·霍罗维奇 David Horovitch 饰）某日在乘坐火车时，发现和他所乘坐的列车擦身而过的那辆列车上，有可能发生了谋杀案。因为警方并没有发现尸体，所以，他们并不是非常相信这位目击者的证言。
马尔普小姐和埃尔斯佩思决定独自调查案件的真相，并且最终锁定了最有可能的抛尸地点——百万富翁路德的庄园。马尔普小姐的侄女露西隐瞒了自己的真实身份，作为一名佣人被招募到了庄园之中，去寻找尸体的下落，但很快，众人就发现，这个案件远比他们所想像的要复杂的多。
