剧情简介
STORY INTRODUCTION
本片取材自马克·吐温的同名小说，讲两兄弟是英国的富豪绅士，从银行里取出一张面额为一百万英镑的支票。他们想知道这张支票对于穷人而言是否有价值，于是彼此打赌，把百万英镑的银行票据借给一个路过的身无分文的美国穷小子，目的是看他能否凭这张很不方便兑现的纸，在伦敦生活一个月。接下来，才是好戏开始上演的时候，这个小伙子在经济上的突变，引起了生活方式的改变，别人对他的种种误解，以及命运的转机。他将如何去面对这突如其来的全新生活呢
